An astrological Study of Corona Virus from Indian Perspective

The first ever case of coronavirus was detected on 17-11-2019 at Hubei, Wuhan Province of China at 5:30 PM, Solar Ingress of Sun in Libra, China being ruled by Sign Libra. On the day Mars was conjunct mercury mars midpoint and inconjunct moon Saturn midpoint which shows war like situation. Also mercury was square mercury Uranus midpoint showing an unusual respiratory disease that would spread like wild fire. Saturn making a square with the ascendant reflected a tough time for general public including mass deaths. Pluto in Sagittarius making a opposition with Mars Uranus midpoint in Gemini points toward secretive activity to spread communicable disease.

The solar ingress chart for Sun in Libra depicted complete mass reorganization of generally adult population. There will be a potential for underground upheaval/activities at international level. The applied energy of nation would be towards family and national homelife. There would be sudden government move. The general health would be afflicted due to fever/viruses. The government along with law enforcement agency will work towards social awareness and national idealism. The effect of this ingress would be uptill next solar ingress i.e. Sun in Aries. World over the coronavirus pandemic spread as the malefic made exact aspect with this solar ingress chart. China first time declared about new viral outbreak in Wuhan as trans mars was conj Mercury. Similarily, again when Mars Squared Mars, SARS COV2 was detected first time in tears and conjunctivital Secretions. As Mars proceeded and made exact aspects with solar ingress chart the virus spread more and more in the world. When Saturn was in opposition to solar ingress Ascendent and transiting Mars conjuct Solar Ingress Sun the Government of India announced complete lockdown of country for 21 days.

The solar ingress of Sun in Aries is most important and primary among other ingresses and has year round effect. The Sun will enter 0 degrees aries on 13 April 2020 There would be anxiety and developemental tension among the masses, rumours would prevail causing fear, the masses would move towards occult and spiritualism, the government would move towards huge expenditure for national planning.

Dr. H.L. Cornell in his Encyclopedia of Medical Astrology has explained epidemics as  “ The greatest of epidemics are caused by the major planets in perihelion (near to Sun) and espec. Saturn and Jupiter and also by Mars in perigree (near to earth). The greatest epidemics have occurred when Jupiter is perihelion and Mars perigree at the same time. Similarily severe epedemics are caused when 3 or 4 superior planets are in conjunction or opposition”. Looking at the transit chart all the planets are direct and a stellium of Mars, Saturn and Pluto in Capricorn resulted in Corona epidemic. Jupiter has now also entered Capricorn making conjunction with these superior planets resulting in increased number of cases since 29^th march 2020. With regards to perigree aspect Mars, Jupiter and Saturn are coming closer to earth since Novemeber and will be closest around July 2020. Only after that they will begin to move far away from earth. It seems that worls over the relief from this pandemic will start coming only after July.

As with regards to India, it has already been stated that Capricorn is the ruling sign for India, and with Jupiter entering Capricorn on 29^th March 2020 there has been an upsurge of cases all over the country.  A particular community is ruled by Saturn and as Jupiter in its debliation conjuncted with it, there has been an increased number of cases in the community since 29^th March, 2020. Also the conjunction with Pluto will bring out all that is hidden.

Now, looking at stellium Mars is in its exalted sign, Saturn in its own sign and Jupiter in its debliated sign acting as a malefic. The relief from this deadly disease could come only when this stellium is broken i.e. either the planet leaves Capricorn sign or turns retrograde. Pluto is turning retrograde on 24^th April 2020, Mars is entering Aquarius on 4^th May 2020,  Saturn is turning retrograde on 11^th may 2020 and Jupiter on 15^th May 2020. So, by this time India would be completely out of danger zone. Also with the retrogration of Saturn and Jupiter some medicine in alternate discipline could also be provided against this deadly virus. Ending with a positive note, this stellium is in star ‘ Uttarashada’ which means permanent victory but with collective efforts.
